Now that the miscarriage of justice we call the Zimmerman Murder Trial is over; why is it the only ringing sound that America hears is, ‘America’s chickens are coming home to roost!’
The absolute travesty of this tragedy acted like a time machine, taking our nation back to that time when through legislation, this nation’s politicians for a purpose completely unrelated to the issue decided that the answer was to refute the idealism of the American government.
There are names not heard in this trial, names that led to the creation of the most un-American, and anti-equality legislation ever passed in this nation…which haunt this nation today.
In the 60’s the actions occurring many correlated to the actions of Gandhi’s actions advancing liberty in India.
It wasn’t until many years later that the complete absurdity of this comparative was realized.
For it was meeting those from India, those who knew the history of their own country, and those who understood what occurred in India that explained the Gandhi event?
Any Indian you meet when asked, how did Gandhi achieve success in gaining independence from Britain you get the same answer from every one. Gandhi had only one ally to achieve this event, the use of British Law.
In this nation the laws from our beginning were once written to protect the individual rights of all citizens. Citizens, and when anyone was identified as a citizen, the legal environment was there to use the court, not to dictate, but to correct inequalities.
Yet though that was occurring in this nation, and great strides had been accomplished. There were those who using the ideology of racial hegemony to not insure the design of this nation, but to advance an agenda based on reversed racism, some ideology for their purpose, not for the rights and protection of man.
They also had an ally, and it is the ally of this action that today is still the agitation of continuing the racial disharmony that is the blight of this nation.
Do you have to ask? Do you not by your very existence living in this nation not identify the power that created this problem that has been so ingrained in our society? It may be impossible to ever have a homogeneous culture, or even a society representing anything related to what would be deemed civilization? As long as the concept that civil rights can be advanced for some at the expense of all others.
This was the same ugly enemy of this nation which raised it venomous corruption of society in this Zimmerman trial, the same as it had advanced the destruction of this nation’s design.
In any society of civilized mankind, one thing that must be anchored in truth is the press. For it is the literacy of man that enables man to witness and understand the environment far greater than his daily existence, his experiences. It is the reason that journalism was, once, held to such high esteem. While at the same time it has been the ‘relativism’ of the writer, not the reality of the facts, that has been the reason for the articles, the statement, and the information shared with society. All who wish power understand this power of the press. Our own nation, the voice of concern, writing of Thomas Paine, Benjamin Franklin, and the many voice of our own nation’s idealism were written with ‘declaratives’ the facts, and the relevance of those facts to the issue at hand.
IN the world of tyrants, Hitler, Mussolini, Lenin, Moa, Obama and any other dictator one wishes to identify control of the press and the message the people have access to is the first and most important thing required to control society.
So back to Gandhi, did he have the press? No he didn’t; he had the law. With it, the law, he used the legal principles of English Law as the means to gain his peoples freedom.
Now how did the freedom occur for those who said they were oppressed in this nation? Have you ever engaged your reasoning and thought of it? Or have you been content to accept the story, the absolute fallacy of this nation’s destruction using the power of: first public opinion; and secondly civil disobedience.
What was the result? Did this nation enforce complying with the laws of this nation? IN fact, there was great effort being done to accomplish just that. This effort was curtailed by what actions? Do you know? Have you ever thought about it? Why did India result in liberation; while this nation is more embroiled with racial problems than ever before to this day?
For in this nation what was the direction taken? It was not to comply with the philosophical idealism as written in our ‘declarative,’ our ‘declaration of independence,’ that all men are created equal. Instead the answer, with not the unintended consequences, but the obvious results that were identified, was to make legislation based on racism that made man unequal. What rational did it take to reach such a preposterous conclusion? Why was this path—this exact opposite of the freedom of Gandhi’s India—taken?
It would be nice if the answer was simple. Yet as all political mistakes, this one is as complex and contorted as all of the others made by our legislators whenever they decide to circumvent the enumerations of our form of republican federalist enumerations, and use ideology of an objective as the reasoning for their actions.
Was it just the political racism of Lyndon Johnson? Or was it the desire to advance cultural communism, destroying the very fiber, the foundations of our nation? Or did emotions and some misplaced reasoning of an error of the leaders of Africa selling their subjects into slavery could somehow be reversed by this nation’s actions? We can make as many hypotheses, or a theorem as we wish, for one has as much validity as any other.
How interesting that the prosecution made this comment; ‘I had a dream that a witness would not be judged on the content of her personality but on the content of her testimony.’
There could have been no more apropos comment parroting the articulate verbalization expressed by Martin Luther King. For this statement in content with such emotional appeal, is iconic as the results created by the ‘civil unrest’ created legislation in diametric opposition to the idealism of this nation.
Think of this nation’s legislation and laws, and all of the attempts to correct, through using the legal protections of the law, to preserve the liberty and rights of man. Then think of the results that the civil rights actions resulted in this nation.
There is no legislation ever written by man more racist than the civil rights legislation, and the extension affirmative action, in any nation anywhere. For it is written that a race, a specified race, shall be given consideration, lifted up and over others, based on that race. This is the definition of racism. This is the greatest mistake this nation has ever done or experienced.
It is this same nihilism, this destruction of this nation of wonder, this antithesis design of those who would destroy this nation. When our society, accepted legislation that was in opposition to our design, our ethos that are as fundamental to this nation as breath to life, we refuted our principles, rejected our wonder, corrupted and destroyed the very philosophical idealism of our wonder.
This acceptance of some elevated above others is not our nation. This blight, this perversion of our principles shall cast a shadow on this nation. As such this masquerade of allowing civil rights legislation—of man and government—to circumvent the endowment of our creator, that all men are created equal will always be challenged; with predictable results as this trial only by the actions of the press and society proved once again.
